Milgard Fiberglass Windows

• Fiberglass Insulated Windows

Everclear has a long standing relationship with Milgard Windows and Doors, a manufacturer of high quality fiberglass windows. This relationship together with our purchasing volume allows us to minimize the cost increases normally associated with fiberglass window costs. You will find our pricing to be especially competitive in the fiberglass window market.
Fiberglass itself is nothing new. It's been floating boats and adding strength to ladders for years. But until recently, the complex profiles required for window designs such as bay windows have been impossible to attain with fiberglass. Milgard's R&D team faced this challenge and engineered a window system that's impervious to water, cold, heat, insects, salt air and ultraviolet rays.

Fiberglass Window Choices
Milgard gives you two distinctive choices when it comes to fiberglass windows, the Ultra™ and WoodClad™ series. When you look at a Milgard Ultra series, you might think that it's painted wood. Or in the case of our WoodClad series, you might even think it's made out of solid Douglas fir. The truth is, our fiberglass windows give you the beauty of a wood window and the quality and durability of a fiberglass frame. Make no mistake, Milgard fiberglass windows will not leak, crack, peel, warp, or stick. A statement no wood window manufacturer can make.
The end result is energy efficient fiberglass windows that maintain their beauty in every season and in any climate.

Ultra™ Series Fiberglass Windows
Fiberglass is the ultimate performance in every season. Designed to be the ultimate window and door frame material. Ultra™, as the name implies, is the ultimate fiberglass window frame material. Ultra fiberglass windows combine a traditional wood frame profile with the strength, stability and zero maintenance of fiberglass. Our Ultra series withstands the harsher sides of Mother Nature like no other window, yet look like painted wood. You get all the beauty, but none of the maintenance.
You can order our Milgard fiberglass windows in seven baked-on standard exterior colors. A wide selection of hardware and grid options is also available.

Ultra™ series fiberglass windows are available in the following styles:
  • Single-hung windows slide vertically for a traditional appearance, reminiscent of old-style sash windows. Combine them with a picture window for more impact.
  • Double-hung tilt windows offer all the elegance of years gone by. The sashes tilt inward for easy cleaning.
  • Horizontal slider windows are popular for contemporary homes and bedrooms requiring egress.
  • Picture windows are a perfect selection for view homes. The perfect way to make the most of your view. Want ventilation? Combine with other windows, such as awning windows, for lots of fresh air.
  • Radius windows enhance the character of both contemporary and traditional homes. Radius windows can be mulled to nearly any other window style to create dramatic affects. Their arched forms are also perfect for door transoms. This window uses alumunium exterior with solid wood liner attached to the interior.
  • Casement windows are a graceful, high-tech popular choice. Jamb hinges allow the window to completely open outward.
  • Awnings windows are hinged on the top so that they tilt outward to allow for ventilation even during bad weather. They make an ideal accent above or below a picture window and are a great way to let the fresh air in.
  • Bay windows project out beyond your exterior wall to create the illusion of a bigger interior. Typically used as a focal point in more formal rooms, bays are available with or without optional casement or awning flankers for ventilation.
  • Bow windows project out beyond your exterior wall. Typically used as a focal point in more formal rooms. Bows are available with or without optional casements or single-hung flankers for ventilation. Bows come in 3, 4 or 5-light configurations, joined at 15 degree angles.

Woodclad™ Series Fiberglass Windows
The durability of a fiberglass frame, with the warmth of furniture-grade, clear, vertical-grain Douglas Fir on the interior. Milgard WoodClad™ series fiberglass windows satisfy both the architectural purist and the realist. You get a carefree fiberglass exterior, plus the beauty of a wood interior. And we do mean beauty. These windows feature furniture-grade, clear, vertical-grain Douglas fir. Without a nail hole or staple on them. What's more, since we use solid stainless steel screws, there's nothing to corrode or rust.
You can stain our wood interiors clear or finish them to match existing woodwork in everything from a maple to a cherry appearance. For the exterior, you can order Milgard WoodClad series fiberglass windows in seven baked-on standard exterior colors. A wide selection of hardware and grid options is available.

Advancing Fiberglass
The strength and durability of fiberglass is unmatched from any other window frame material. Milgard's fiberglass windows are produced using a process known as pultrusion. Glass rovings and mats are pulled at tremendous forces through a resin bath and a series of dies. These materials combine and catalyze to provide unparalleled torsional and tensile strength.

Milgard Pureview™ Window Screen
Fresh air and sunlight come standard with the PureView™ window screen. Each yarn is 30% thinner in diameter than conventional fiberglass screens for a clearer, crisper view. The smaller spaces between yarns leave no room for bugs so that a gentle breeze and warm sunshine are the only things that will be getting through this screen.
This screen is standard on Ultra™ series fiberglass windows, Woodclad™ series fiberglass windows, Tuscany™ series vinyl windows, Montcito™ series vinyl windows, and Classic™ series vinyl patio doors.
