Retractable Screen speed reducers.

Some of the retractable screen products have dampners or speed reducers to slow the return rate of the screen handle.  This can keep
accidents such as pinched fingers from getting caught by the screen pull-bar. Glide screen handles this problem with two solutions. Solution #1 is to attach a speed reducer to one end of the screen fabric roll. This is a single direction reducer that only activates when the screen is going back into the screen cassette.  It doesen't put resistant on the screen pull-bar while the screen is being pulled across
the door/window opening.  #2 is the Glide Screen Smooth Glide screen that uses a counter-balance system to hold the screen pull-bar in place.  If you let go of the pull-bar it will stay where you released it.
